Mori doesn't want to admit defeat by ending the call because of Dazai so he signals Elise to give him an excuse.
Dazai quickly works that out.
He starts being extra annoying and Elise appears sooner.
This keeps going for ages.
The meetings get shorter and shorter.
They go from hours to just over 10 minutes.
It gets to the point where they don't get anything done. -
