Summary
Aizawa Shouta knew, fundamentally, that his quirk could be useful when it came to helping others; however, after his parents died and a few, unsuccessful jaunts around the foster-care system later, he comes to realise that the world of heroes isn’t for him.
Because heroes only showed up some of the time; then, if you were lucky, they’d rush onto the scene, seek their glory in defeating villains and then vanish behind a screen of adoring-fans, TV cameras and fame… leaving the ordinary people behind to sift through the fragments of their broken lives themselves.
No one had saved him from the ruthless reality of being an orphan too old and too damaged to be adopted and no one gave a damn about the shady area ensconcing the care-centre he was raised in either, and so, he decides to give a damn.
What follows are the tales of Café Owner Aizawa who hasn’t adopted several kids, intimidated the local gangs, scared off the pimps and caused multiple villains and heroes to catch feels for him, no sir; he just serves drinks, provides decent food and helps struggling students with their homework.
It’d be irrational to think otherwise…

A while back, I asked people to submit "thank you" prompts in celebration of surpassing 2000 kudos on NTW (THANK YOU!) and I've finally found some time to start writing them.
We had a list of different sentences starting with "thank you", and I asked people submitting a prompt to also specify if they wanted me to write it from a specific POV, and if they wanted it set before, during, or after the main events of NTW. Most of these will be set during and after NTW, as requested, and I will post them in chronological order. For now, I'm only writing the pre- and during NTW prompts, and I will be careful to warn about spoilers once we get to the prompts set after NTW. There isn't perhaps much to spoil, but I cling to the little there is.
Coincidentally, this is happening right now because I unexpectedly felt a feeling about the show ending. So, I will post as many of these as I can this week in some sort of emotionally confused reaction to that. Thank you for being part of this fandom!

The world shook as Monsters were freed from their imprisonment. Monsters were something of fairy tales. Over the course of a year, we follow Reader as she learns to sing and dance and perform with BTS. She gets to know each of the boys and tries to help them find their feet as young men who want to do the right thing for ARMY and themselves. And Jungkook... well, Reader doesn't know why Jungkook seems to hate her so much, but if she works hard enough to impress him, she's sure he'll notice her eventually. She's definitely noticing him...

This is a love story, and not just for Reader and Jungkook. But it's also about BTS's relationship with each other, with ARMY and about what will happen to them in the future.
This fic is, I hope, well written. I'm a practicing writer so if you come across errors, please let me know.
The book's long and it's ALREADY COMPLETED but I'll update the story every couple of days to get some traction.
