Well, it turns out that those exact words are identical to the ones exchanged in wedding rites performed on Liaitia IV.” He pretends to look shocked. “What are the odds?”
...and an extremely bizarre request:
“I can’t sleep,” he says through clenched teeth. “All right? I can’t sleep and I didn’t know what else to do so I came here to find you.”
